Which Mafia is more brutal? The Italian Mafia(at its prime) or the rising Albanian Mafia?
It is well known that the Italian Mafia today is a shell of its former self and watered down of what it once was in terms of strength and brutality since when the original Italian mobsters came to U.S.A around the 1930s? and that the main Mafia activity in New York is more Albanian today than it is Italian or Russian.. but today many are 3d or 4th generation Italian Americans and in lower numbers. The Albanian Mafia on the other hand is comprised of many new immigrants who are brutal and many coming from the violent communist regime not so long ago , conditions similar to the Italian/Sicilian gangster immigrants of the World War II Era. But my question is which of the two Mafias would indeed be considered more intimidating... The Italian Mafia at its prime, or the Albanian Mafia today and why? ( I am also aware that the Albanians are affiliated with many Italian crime families as well)
