Hello everyone I am Italian. Why consider us all mafia?

It's hype and a stereotype... There are too many movies and televisions programs about the mafia and there are too many uneducated Americans. And for some reason, some people think it is somehow "cool" to be in with the mafia and stupid notions like that. It goes a long with people thinking things like all Mexicans are illegal citizens or have TONS of siblings, all Asian people eat dog/cat, or all Germans are/were Nazis. It is politically incorrect and rude and based on stupid notions and often believed by people who are ignorant. It is really sad, actually.
