Russia? Russian discrimination? Russian opinions.?
I would like to visit Russia for a long period of time, but I am not white. I was curious to know about the racism in Russia (I hear it's terrible). I have a few Russian friends from there, but they are not racist (and their parents are part of the mob). I am in the states and hardly ever experience racism. I think it is because people never know what ethnicity I am, so they don't have any specific comments that are rude. I am 5'11 brown complected with brown hair. I am mostly Spanish and French (white) but I do have some Arab, Native American and Sicilian in me. Since i am dark (similar darkness to that of a person from India) will I get lots of racism, even if I learn some Russian when visiting the country? are all "non-white" looking people discriminated? Thank you :)
