Installing laminate in bedroom?

i put my tracks on top of my laminate, that way you don't have to cut around them. do like you did in the basement, start on the longest straight wall and go. just trim each plank when needed around the register opening. then place the register on top of the cut out to cover the vent. just make sure you trim the laminate so that the register overlaps when placed over it.
