My first fiance was Dominican & PuertoRican and for year no matter the festivity we went to the same bakery and got what the family called a Dominican cake. Its Cake white or yellow and its layered each layer was a different fresh fruit and a very thick non melt extra creamy wip cream not like cool wip no American frosting again that amazing cream . Im Sicilian American and BLACK American Cassata Cake or Bread pudding no problem ! I don't even know the actual name to find a recipe . any help appreciated.
