Another Way To Make Bronze Accessories?

There is a gorgeous necklace I want that is made from pieces of copper and bronze (mostly bronze) and instead of paying eighty five dollars, I just want to recreate it for myself. I know of PMC (precious metal clay) but I can't all of the supplies I will need and I doubt I will ever use them again. Is there something else I can do to make it seem like I made bronze jewelry?
